Seminole is the “youngest” municipality in Pinellas County and has a population of just over 18,000 residents. Although there are history references to Seminole & the surrounding area as far back as 1528, the city was not incorporated until 1970. The new Seminole City Center was developed in 2016 on the site of the old Seminole Mall. Now open, this development offers dining, shopping, entertainment and service businesses.
